According to provincial officials, key procedures, including investment criteria and conditions, have been finalized, with several strategic investors expressing interest in the developments. To ensure infrastructure growth aligns with the province’s long-term vision, Khánh Hòa authorities are also engaging with investors to establish the new Vân Phong Airport. Once operational, the airport is expected to handle 5–7 million passengers annually, further boosting the region’s appeal as a premier tourism and golf destination.
At the second Business Dialogue Conference of 2024, Khánh Hòa Provincial Party Secretary Nghiêm Xuân Thành announced that the province had successfully achieved all 22/22 socio-economic targets for the year.
Looking ahead to 2025 and beyond, Khánh Hòa is entering a “decade of elevation and development.” Currently, the province ranks 27th out of 63 in Vietnam’s economic scale. By 2030, Khánh Hòa aims to become a centrally governed city, striving to break into the top 15 provinces and cities with the largest economies and highest per capita income in the country.
Mr. Thành emphasized that Khánh Hòa’s industrial development potential will be significant in the coming years, creating jobs, sustainable growth, and increased budget revenue.
