Vietnam Golf Course Owners Summit 2025

Hue, Vietnam – Vietnam’s golf industry is entering a new era with the launch of the Vietnam Golf Course Owners Summit 2025 (VNGOS 2025), taking place from October 31, 2025, at Laguna Lăng Cô Resort, Hue City.

Focusing on sustainable development and strategic growth, the summit is set to become a defining event for the Vietnam golf tourism and golf economy. Organisers describe it as “a new chapter in the development of golf in Vietnam,” shaping the direction for the 2025–2030 period and establishing a long-term vision toward 2040.

A United Vision for Vietnam’s Golf Future

For the first time, golf course owners, government leaders, international experts, and global partners will gather in an official forum to discuss how to elevate Vietnam’s golf industry to international standards.
The summit aims to unify the industry’s vision, build development frameworks, and establish sustainable strategies to strengthen the position of Vietnam golf on the global map.

This milestone event is governed by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and the Hue City People’s Committee, supported by the Vietnam National Authority of Tourism, Vietnam Sports Administration, and Hue City Department of Tourism. The summit’s managing and executing organization is 54 The Global Sports and Entertainment Agency.

Vietnam’s tourism industry has shown strong momentum — with nearly 14 million international visitors in the first eight months of 2025, marking a 21% increase compared to 2024.
In this context, golf tourism has emerged as a high-value segment, attracting premium travelers, extending their stays, and increasing local spending across hospitality, cuisine, real estate, and employment sectors.

With golf participation in Vietnam up 279% year-on-year and tourism revenue projected to exceed USD 1 billion by 2025, the need for standardization, sustainability, and collaboration has never been greater. The Vietnam Golf Course Owners Summit 2025 was created to address this need — providing a unified vision and practical roadmap for the industry’s future.

Part of the Vietnam Golf Festival – Wellness Tourism Week

VNGOS 2025 will also be a key highlight within the National Tourism Year in Hue 2025 – Vietnam Golf Festival, themed around Wellness Tourism Week.
Beyond the main summit, the event will feature a Gala Dinner and the Vietnam Golf Industry Awards, followed by the Asian Golf Industry Federation (AGIF) conference and golf tournament from November 1–2, 2025, also held at Laguna Lăng Cô Golf Club.

Towards a Sustainable Golf Future

The summit will focus on four key areas:

✅ promoting inbound golf tourism

✅ positioning Vietnam as a leading golf destination in Asia

✅ unifying sustainable environmental development standards

✅ discussing the development roadmap and future of 100 new golf courses

✅ discussing preferential investment policies, public-private partnerships, and FDI models for comprehensive development; and laying the foundation for establishing the Vietnam Golf Course Owners Alliance.

As Vietnam continues to strengthen its reputation as one of Asia’s most dynamic golf destinations, the Vietnam Golf Course Owners Summit 2025 will play a pivotal role in aligning industry standards and accelerating long-term growth.

Additionally, the summit will introduce and discuss the Vietnam National Golf Star-Rating System, a ground-breaking initiative designed to standardise service quality, enhance golfer experience, and strengthen Vietnam’s competitiveness on the international golf map.
