With its strategic location and a vision to cater to both local and international players, Thai Binh is set to develop an 18-hole golf course in Quynh Phu District. This exciting project is part of the province’s broader plan to enhance its appeal as a destination for recreation, investment, and tourism.

On the afternoon of November 15, the Thai Binh Provincial People’s Council approved a resolution for a 1:2,000-scale subdivision planning project for the construction of a golf course in Quynh Phu District. For a province with rapid growth in industrial production, trade, and services, like Thai Binh, the initiative to build a golf course has long been a goal for local authorities and businesses.

According to surveys, there has been a significant increase in demand for golf among organizations and individuals in recent years. Last year, the province attracted nearly $3 billion in foreign direct investment (FDI). Despite facing many challenges, Thai Binh aims to achieve $1 billion in FDI this year. With a considerable number of foreign technical experts and managers living and working in the province, coupled with rising incomes and living standards, the demand for golf has become an urgent need. This has prompted local authorities to formulate plans to develop a high-caliber golf course in the near future.

As reported by Nhan Dan Newspaper, the proposed site for the golf course spans 67.08 hectares in Quynh Lam and Quynh Hoang Communes, Quynh Phu District, Thai Binh Province. The planned facility will be an 18-hole golf course and sports complex.

Strategically located in the northwest of the province, the golf course is close to Hai Phong City, Hai Duong, Hung Yen, and Ha Nam Provinces. Adjacent to the golf course is the Duyen Hai Hot Mineral Resort (Hung Ha District, Thai Binh Province), which broke ground in early October 2024. This premium resort complex, Lynn Times Duyen Hai, is a project by Japan’s Onsen Fuji Group with a total investment of VND 2 trillion. Once completed, the resort will seamlessly connect with the Quynh Phu golf course, offering a comprehensive range of high-end services such as hot mineral baths, hotel accommodations, dining, entertainment, therapy, and wellness care.
