Job Purpose
Responsible for supervising daily café operations and supporting service teams to ensure consistent delivery of food and beverages to members and guests. The role focuses on operational excellence, staff coordination, and customer satisfaction in line with Kuala Lumpur Golf & Country Club (KLGCC) standards and 18 LAB branding.
Job Responsibilities
1. Daily Operations Supervision
- Supervise day-to-day café operations to ensure smooth workflow and adherence to SOPs.
- Monitor food quality, beverage preparation, and service standards.
- Ensure cleanliness, organization, and compliance with HSSE and HACCP requirements.
- Assist in café setup, closing procedures, and operational readiness for daily business.
2. Staff Coordination & Training Support
- Guide and support baristas and service staff during operations.
- Assist with onboarding and basic training of new staff.
- Monitor staff performance and provide on-the-job coaching to maintain service standards.
- Prepare duty rosters and ensure adequate manpower during peak periods.
3. Inventory & Stock Control
- Assist in monitoring inventory levels for café supplies and equipment.
- Conduct regular stock checks and support monthly inventory counts.
- Coordinate with suppliers and kitchen teams to ensure timely replenishment.
- Help minimize wastage and control operational costs.
4. Sales & Operational Performance
- Track daily sales and assist in identifying operational improvements.
- Support implementation of promotions and seasonal offerings.
- Provide feedback on product performance based on customer response..
5. Marketing and Events Support
- Assist in executing in-store promotions and café events.
- Ensure displays and promotional materials follow 18 LAB branding guidelines.
- Support café operations during special events and catering activities.
6. Administrative and Financial Support
- Assist with basic reporting on sales, expenses, and operations.
- Support cost control initiatives to ensure café profitability, especially during low-traffic periods such as Ramadan.
Job Requirements
- Minimum qualification: Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM).
- At least 3 years of experience in an established café, preferably with an F&B background.
- Must have own transport.
- Willing to travel within KL and Selangor to oversee multiple outlets.
- Capable to working independently with minimum supervision.
