1. Overview of the Hoang Dong Lang Son Golf Course Project
The Hoang Dong – Lang Son Hotel and Golf Course project boasts an impressive master plan spanning approximately 193 hectares with a total investment exceeding VND 1,322 billion. Upon completion, it will serve not just as a golf course, but as a large-scale integrated tourism, commercial, and resort complex.
- Golf Course: International-standard 18-hole design.
- Accommodation & Hospitality: 5-star international hotel (approx. 200 rooms), luxury villas, apartments, and high-end residential units.
- Amenities: Entertainment complex, commercial center, healthcare and educational facilities, antique exhibition center, and cultural-artistic product showcases.

2. Latest Progress Update as of September 2026
As of mid-September 2026, the Hoang Dong Golf Course project has achieved major milestones in site clearance:
- Site Clearance: Handed over approximately 192.7 / 196.6 hectares (reaching about 98% of the total project area).
- Relocation Work: Local authorities have assisted in relocating 476 out of 558 graves within the planned zone.
- Legal Procedures: The investor is finalizing the Feasibility Study Report and Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) to submit for approval before October 30, 2026.
Currently, the Lang Son Provincial People’s Committee is closely directing relevant departments to collaborate with the investor in resolving final bottlenecks including clearing the remaining land area and approving a disposal plan for 1.3 million m³ of surplus soil generated during construction.
3. Anticipated November 2026 Groundbreaking Milestone
Under the guidance of the Lang Son Provincial People’s Committee, all preparatory work will be completed in October to meet all necessary conditions for groundbreaking in November 2026.
