The Professional Golf Tour of India (PGTI) is the official governing body for professional golf in India. With a commitment to elevating the sport and providing a platform for professional golfers to showcase their talent, PGTI organizes and manages premier golf tournaments across the country.
Role Overview:
PGTI is seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Tournament Golf Services Manager to oversee and execute golf tournament operations efficiently. The role involves managing daily tournament logistics, ensuring high operational standards, coordinating with stakeholders, and enhancing the experience for professional golfers.
Key Responsibilities:
-Tournament & Golf Operations:
- Oversee daily tournament requirements , including scheduling, player registrations, and adherence to tournament protocols.
- Ensure setting of tee times, event entries, and real-time updates on tournament progress.
- Work closely with tournament officials and referees,
- Manage & monitor the scores of the players during the tournament .
-Player & Member Management:
- Maintain up-to-date records of players’ profiles, rankings, and tournament participation.
- Address queries and concerns of professional golfers, ensuring a seamless and welcoming experience.
- Manage communication related to player entries, withdrawals, and tournament guidelines.
-Data & Rankings Management:
- Track and update player rankings based on tournament results.
- Maintain records and ensure the integrity of player statistics and performance data.
- `Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree
- 0-5 years of experience in a similar role
- Strong understanding of professional golf tournaments
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with players, officials, and stakeholders.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple events simultaneously and travel vociferously.
- Willingness to travel extensively as required for tournaments
