The People’s Committee of Phu Tho Province has recently issued a decision allowing the conversion of more than 70 hectares of production forest land in Thinh Minh Ward to implement the Ky Son Golf Course Project. This is one of the region’s large-scale golf course projects, featuring a total investment capital of nearly 1,000 billion VND and designed as an international 36-hole golf course.
Over 70 Hectares of Forest Land Converted for the Golf Course Project
According to the decision of the Phu Tho Provincial People’s Committee, TUDI Urban and Commercial Development Investment Joint Stock Company (TUDI) is permitted to convert the land-use purpose of over 70 hectares of production forest land in Thinh Minh Ward/Commune (formerly part of Hoa Binh) into land dedicated to sports and physical training activities to deploy the Ky Son Golf Course Project.
This area consists of production forest land that the enterprise has completely transferred from local households through agreements in accordance with regulations. Upon completing the conversion procedures, the enterprise will lease the land under annual rental payments, with a land-use term valid until July 22, 2072.
The Provincial People’s Committee has also instructed the tax authority to determine the financial obligations regarding land rent and registration fees, while requesting local authorities to supervise the construction process to ensure the project is implemented according to planning and legal regulations.
Nearly 149-Hectare Project with International-Standard 36-Hole Scale
Under the master plan, Ky Son Golf Course covers a total area of nearly 149 hectares with a total investment of approximately 1,000 billion VND. The project is designed with 36 holes meeting international standards, aiming to develop a high-quality sports and service complex. According to the schedule, construction is expected to be completed in the second quarter of 2027.
The investor is TUDI Urban and Commercial Development Investment Joint Stock Company (TUDI), established in 2006 and headquartered in Hanoi. TUDI is known for several real estate and commercial projects, including the Friend’s Tower office and commercial complex located at 11 Lang Ha.
