Position Summary
The JITC Coach plays a key role in delivering exceptional golf instruction and service to a diverse range of clients, including JAGA students, adult clients, junior clients, and visiting groups. This role combines coaching, operations, marketing, and brand development, supporting the growth and consistency of the JITC program in Thailand and across international locations.
The JITC Coach may be required to travel internationally to assist with the launch and operation of new JITC centers, conduct recruitment events, train new coaches, and ensure program alignment and identity across the network.
Key Responsibilities
Coaching & Player Development
- Deliver individual and group coaching sessions for junior and adult clients of varying skill levels.
- Support the development of JAGA student-athletes through specialized training sessions.
- Provide on-course instruction, technical analysis, and player feedback.
- Uphold the JITC coaching philosophy and training standards across all programs.
Operations & Client Experience
- Oversee and manage day-to-day JITC operations, ensuring a professional, welcoming environment.
- Assist in scheduling, organizing lessons, and coordinating client programs.
- Support retail sales and promote JITC programs, memberships, and merchandise.
- Maintain equipment and practice facilities to the highest presentation standards.
Marketing & Business Development
- Participate in local and international recruitment events, tournaments, and exhibitions.
- Assist with promotional campaigns, social media content, and client engagement activities.
- Represent JITC and JAGA at external events, building strong community and partner relationships.
Training & International Support
- Travel to other JITC centers to assist with startup operations and recruitment.
- Train and mentor new JITC coaches to ensure global program consistency.
- Contribute to the development of JITC operational manuals and training resources.
- Support the Head Coach and management in shaping the JITC brand identity and service standards.
Qualifications & Experience
- PGA-certified or equivalent recognized coaching qualification.
- Minimum 6 years of coaching experience, ideally with both junior and adult players.
- Experience in golf operations, marketing, and retail within a club, academy, or resort environment.
- Strong understanding and practical experience with modern coaching technologies (e.g., TrackMan, Capto, SAM PuttLab, V1, or similar systems) is highly preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with fluency in English (Thai language an advantage).
- Experience working in an international or multicultural environment preferred.
- Willingness to travel regionally and internationally as required.
