The Bluffs Grand Ho Tram, designed by golf legend Greg Norman, officially opened in 2014 and has established itself as one of Vietnam’s most celebrated coastal golf courses. Located in Ho Tram, Ho Chi Minh City, the 18-hole, par-71 championship course is renowned for its dramatic natural terrain and sweeping ocean views. In 2026, the course received the prestigious Vietnam Golf & Leisure Triple Crown at the Vietnam Golf & Leisure Awards.
The terrain at The Bluffs is defined by towering sand dunes, undulating fairways and expansive sandy areas, reflecting the distinctive character of a traditional links-style course. With few trees to provide shelter, the course is directly exposed to coastal winds that can shift in both direction and intensity throughout a round. Accuracy off the tee and careful club selection are essential, as wayward shots can leave golfers in challenging positions. Strategically placed bunkers and contoured greens demand precision on approach shots, while the firm playing surfaces reward golfers who can control their ball flight and adapt to changing conditions.
Several standout holes showcase the course’s distinctive challenges. The par-3 second hole stretches up to 232 yards from the back tees, testing distance control with its elevated setting and bunkers guarding the green. The par-3 15th is equally demanding at 257 yards, playing towards one of the highest points on the course. Golfers must accurately judge both distance and wind direction before attempting to reach the green. The round concludes at the 489-yard par-4 18th, where an uphill approach provides a final test of power and precision. With its rugged coastal scenery, shifting sea breezes and strategic design, The Bluffs Grand Ho Tram offers a memorable experience for golfers seeking a scenic yet demanding links-style challenge.
