The Asia Golf Journey team recently had the pleasure of conducting an exclusive site inspection at the exceptional Hoiana Resort & Golf, one of Central Vietnam’s leading integrated golf and hospitality destinations.

We would like to extend our sincere gratitude to Mr. Peng and Mr. Long for their generous invitation and warm hospitality. The visit provided an excellent opportunity for our team to experience the resort’s world-class facilities, exceptional service standards, and championship golf offerings firsthand. We look forward to strengthening our partnership, exchanging industry insights, and working together to elevate Vietnam’s golf tourism on the international stage.

Central Vietnam Continues to Ride a Strong Tourism Wave

Our visit took place during Da Nang’s summer high season, when luxury resorts and golf destinations across the region are experiencing exceptionally high occupancy levels. The continued growth of international tourism has created strong momentum for both the hospitality and golf industries throughout Central Vietnam.

According to the latest tourism statistics for the first six months of 2026 published by The Vietnam National Authority of Tourism, Da Nang recorded 9.8 million staying visitors, representing an impressive 22.5% year-on-year increase compared with the same period in 2025.

International tourism remained the primary growth driver, welcoming 5.2 million visitors, up 28.7%, while domestic overnight visitors reached 4.6 million, an increase of 16.2% year over year.

Strengthening Global Connectivity Through Expanded Air Routes

Supporting this tourism momentum is Da Nang International Airport’s continuously expanding flight network, making the destination increasingly accessible for international leisure and golf travelers.

According to report of The Vietnam National Authority of Tourism, recent aviation developments include:

  • Vietnam Airlines has increased flight frequencies between Da Nang – Seoul (Incheon), Da Nang – Tokyo (Narita) and Da Nang – Osaka (Kansai) from July 2026.
  • Vietnam Airlines is also scheduled to resume the Da Nang – Lam Dong route in August 2026.
  • Sun PhuQuoc Airways now operates regular domestic services connecting Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, and Phu Quoc with Da Nang.

Industry Insights: Mr. Peng’s Share About Vietnam’s Tourism Potential

During our visit, Mr. Peng shared valuable insights into the future development of tourism and golf in Da Nang and Vietnam.

He spoke highly of the destination’s exceptional hospitality standards, stunning coastal landscape, and the quality of Vietnam’s championship golf courses, noting that these strengths continue to enhance the country’s competitiveness within the regional tourism market.

At the same time, he emphasized the importance of continued investment in tourism infrastructure.
